General Information

Originally from Vancouver, British Columbia Dr. Gell moved to the United States in 1991 to attend The University of Iowa College of Dentistry where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) in 1995. He then went to UNC at Chapel Hill Dental School for his advanced training in Endodontics where he obtained his Masters Degree in Oral Biology and Certificate in Endodontics in 1998. He then entered private Endodontic practice in Durham, NC with I. Joel Leeb and associates until 2004 during which time he was also an Adjunct Clinical Professor in the Department of Endodontics at Chapel Hill in both the Undergraduate and Graduate Endodontic programs. On November 15, 2002 Dr. Gell completed his Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, which is the pinnacle of academic achievement in Endodontics. In 2004 Dr. Gell established his solo Endodontic practice in Concord, NC and in 2006 added a second office in Charlotte, NC.

Tammy is a CDA  II that was  originally born and raised in Charleston, West Virginia. She graduated college in 1987 and has went on to further her education with courses at Baptist and Wake Forest and recently recieved her certificate in "DOCS" Oral Sedation.Tammy  has truly enjoyed working in the dental field for over 20 years! She joined the team of Dr. Gell in May of 2007 and is now the Business Manager. She loves the specialty field of endodontics.

Tammy just recently married Bruce Ashworth. In their sparetime they enjoy riding their Harley,cooking and spending time with their 3 month old Rottweiler, family and friends!

Christy has been with Dr. Gell since he moved to Concord, NC in 2004 as an assistant. Her and her husband Greg are parents of two; her son Landon and her younger daughter Peyton. Christy is very involved with homeschooling her children and works part-time at our office. A great team member and wonderful person; Christy always strives to make her patients feel comfortable, educated on their current appointment needs and cared for.
